Many manufacturers are now coming out with their own 3d tv’s. Prices vary as do sizes. Most popular seem to be the very large 60″ + televisions. Having to wear (and purchase extra pairs of ) 3d glasses puts many prospective purchasers off. Toshiba are working on glassess free 3d tv but so although ok on smaller screens I don’t think it’s suitable for the larger more popular 3d’s. Buying a new 3d tv is a considerable financial commitment to most and although these tv’s make viewing an altogether different experience time should be taken to compare prices and specifications of the various models already out there.
My thoughts for what it’s worth – if you can afford a 3dtv then go get one they bring a whole new dimentsion to tv viewing
